Though we at VanMag have our own Restaurant Awards, we still get excited any time local eateries are shouted out, whether it be during the recent Michelin Awards or in this case, the 15th annual Chinese Restaurant Awards.
The award’s panel of 18 judges (who run the gamut from professional food critics to frequent diners) has been busy eating their way through Metro Vancouver and even though the awards themselves aren’t until November 5th, the finalists have officially been announced. The selection includes dine-in Chinese restaurants as well as Taiwanese cuisine, Cantonese barbecue, food court stalls, dessert shops and café-style venues.
