Chefs of Vancouver are coming together beautifully with hot new collaboration dinners and continuing series that span cultures and cuisines this June. In case you hadn’t already loosened your belt while perusing the winners of the 2026 Restaurant Awards, you’ll have even more reason to this upcoming month. Bon appetit!

Indonesian Japanese Collaboration Dinner at Torafuku

Chef Akira Takaki (Chef de Cuisine at Michelin-recommended Torafuku) and chef Daria Andriienko team up for a one-night-only collaboration dinner highlighting Indonesian-Japanese inspired courses, with wine pairings and special cocktails developed by Torafuku owner/chef Steve Kuan. The twelve-course curated dinner is shaped by heritage flavours, and executed with French technique. As chef Akira Takaki creates the savoury courses, chef Daria Andriienko develops the bread and desserts for the collaboration. Chef Akira runs an Indonesian pop-up series, Cuisine by Genki, dedicated to introducing Indonesian food and culture to Vancouver.

Coast Restaurant’s Nigiri Omakase Experience

An intimate nigiri omakase experience is led by chef Henry Kim, showcasing a multi-course tasting focused on premium seafood at this upscale seafood destination.

Feast and Friends Vol. 5: DD Mau x Oku Izakaya

Now the fifth in its Feast and Friends series, DD Mau’s latest collaboration is with chef Tyler Hoang and Oku Izakaya’s Takeshi Hasegawa alongside bartender Satoshi Yonemori (Shuhari Cocktail/June). The multi-course collaboration dinner fuses Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Think: azuki bean meets pandan, clam fritters and beef tartare hand rolls paired with Nikka coffey vodka slushies, martinis and milk punches.

One-Night Sushi Collab: Lobby Lounge and RawBar x Sushi Bar Shu

The Lobby Lounge & RawBar’s Chef de Cuisine Youssef Jbari and Chef Hyunki Shin of Sushi Bar Shu collaborate on a seven-course meal celebrating the flavours and bounty of Japan. Together with Fairmont Pacific Rim’s culinary team, this collaborative dinner will offer a multi-course journey that bridges Japanese precision with the vibrant energy of The Lobby Lounge and RawBar.

Suyo con Amigos: Suyo x Rabbit Rabbit

Two award winning kitchens: one hot night. The Suyo con Amigos dinner with Victoria’s Rabbit Rabbit—silver winner from Victoria in the 2026 Restaurant Awards—will feature an eight-course tasting menu with dishes alternating between Suyo/Uchu chef Ricardo Valverde (gold winner in the 2026 Restaurant Awards’ Best Latin American category) and Rabbit Rabbit’s chef Billy Nguyen,  with curated wine and cocktail pairings included. Only 40 seats per timeslot—so get tickets ASAP.

Dinner for Two Feature at The Teahouse

The Teahouse’s Dinner for Two is a nightly multi-course feature that showcases a starter of a seafood platter (poached chilled prawns, smoked salmon rosettes, steamed mussels, clams and more), a 12oz NY striploin sliced to share alongside shrimp risotto broccolini, crab dip and Chocolate Milano Cake for dessert. Wine pairings available for an additional charge and only available while quantities last!

Spring Tasting Menu at Desi Indian Lounge

Executive Chef Bal Ajagaonkar is introducing his new Chef’s Spring Tasting Menu, a five-course, prix-fixe menu showcasing local produce and proteins from local farmers, foragers, fishers and markets. Think: asparagus shorba, tandoori brussels sprouts, tamarind-glazed sablefish, cornish hen and a golden beet and paan mousse.

St. Lawrence Provence-inspired Table d’Hôte menu

One of Vancouver’s Michelin-starred restaurants, St. Lawrence, welcomes summer with a new four-course Provence-inspired Table d’Hôte menu by chef/owner J-C Poirier. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant, ingredient-driven cuisine of Southeastern France, expect produce-forward Mediterranean flavours in dishes such as pissaladière (puff pastry with caramelized onions and anchovy), panisse et mayonnaise au safran (chickpea fritters with saffron aioli), thon grille, bouillabaisse de poisson and more.

Vino and Vibes at Wildlight Kitchen and Bar

Returning with its wine and burger series Vino and Vibes this summer, Wildlight Kitchen and Bar highlights near-impossible-to-find wines alongside the restaurant’s beloved juicy burgers. Kicking things off is a rare tasting of Montes Purple Angel vintages on June 11: try five half-glass (2.5 oz) pours by Wildlight’s wine director, Mike Cooke, alongside a representative from the featured wineries.
