About the Competition

Vancouver magazine’s International Wine Competition is the largest judging of international and domestic wines in Western Canada. Inspired by the magazine’s renowned Restaurant Awards, now in their 22nd year, the competition focuses on wines available in BC’s dynamic market.

Who can enter?

A winery or sales agent can enter any domestic or imported table, sparkling, or fortified wine that is legally sold in BC.

Judging

Our judges are carefully selected and include renowned wine experts, sommeliers, journalists and educators. For a list of past judges and an explanation of our judging process, click here.

Entry rules, process and fees

• December 19, 2012 – Vancouver magazine Wine Awards issue hits newsstands

• February 1, 2013 – LDB and wine stores commence promotions

• Early February, 2013 (exact date TBD) – Big Night event held
