Giveaway: Tickets to Chambar’s Summer Series Tasting Menu

If you’ve ever dined on the softly-lit patio of Chambar, then it’ll come as no surprise to you that the Belgian restaurant snagged our 2024 Restaurant Award’s Editor’s Pick for best date night restaurant. I mean, if you’re looking for a place to propose that has photo-worthy lighting and also has the best moules frites in the city—look no further.

But beyond date nights we’ve been really excited about Chambar this year because it’s celebrating over two decades of being a Vancouver institution. And its been doing it in style—but the famed restaurant isn’t done yet. From now until August 31 the award-winning restaurant is commemorating their 20th anniversary by leaning into all things summer abundance with three-course tasting menus that change monthly.

The July menu features dishes like albacore tuna with ajoblanco, peppadew, capers, green beans and roasted almond sauce vierge and olive oil sponge cake with puff pastry chiboust (crème pâtissière lightened with meringue), and macerated strawberry cream. The full menu is available on the Chambar website, while reservations can be made via TBDine.

The three-course tasting menu costs $49 per person, plus an optional $39 wine pairing. However, starting today until July 19 you can enter to win a table for two via Instagram. The winning person will receive two 3-course dinners plus wine pairings (valued at $197.12) at Chambar where you can enjoy either the July or August tasting menu. Talk about a date-night upgrade!
