Celebrate Burdock and Co’s 10 year anniversary with a multi-course dinner on September 23.
Who wouldn’t want to celebrate a 10-year anniversary with a 10-course tasting menu? In fact, I just texted my partner a list of all my favourite foods to give him an eight-year head start. But to hold me over till then, there’s a 10-year anniversary celebration that only requires a trip to Mount Pleasant and a hearty appetite.
On September 23, Burdock and Co is celebrating 10 years in business with a curated 10-course tasting menu experience with chef and owner, Andrea Carlson. Not only did her restaurant win a Michelin Star in 2022, Burdock & Co won bronze in VanMag’s 2023 Restaurant Awards in the Best Contemporary category. Carlson also earned the esteemed title of Chef of the Year in 2020. Let’s just say we’re big fans.
The menu draws inspiration from chef Carlson’s passion for farm to table dining. Expect seasonal dishes sourced from regional farmers and suppliers with tastes from Carlson’s past and present. There’s also an option to add curated wine pairings—now that’s a 10-year anniversary. Siri, add Meiomi Cab Sav to my list.
