Settle in at the bar at Shebeen and order a glass of 12 Year Old Red Breast Irish Whiskey ($9), a double gold medal winner from the prestigious San Fransciso World Spirits Competition (the one that matters).

See the woebegone William Fitzsimmons at the Biltmore. Fine, he’s from Illinois, but his last name and mournful tunes seem perfectly fitting.
