Comedians will use playlists and albums suggested by the audience to inspire improv scenes in Playlist, our city’s grooviest improv show.

Get three kickass performances in one night at SHIFT Festival 12, a showcase of theatrical works exploring the past, present and future. First, Tai Amy Grauman embodies five generations of Métis women in Marie’s Letters. Then, Kelsey Kanatan Wavey tells the story of the complicated friendship between the last woman on Earth and the last drop of water in ōpimātis. The show closes with Claire Love Wilson and Sara Vickruck’s Sound Off, a sound-focused show that features games and improvisation.

Combine all the elegance of a night at the symphony with the guilty pleasures of Saturday morning cartoons at the VSO’s Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II. Your favourite 2D stars, including Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Tweety Bird, and Wile E. Coyote will be projected on the big screen while their original scores are played live. Watch out for falling anvils.
