15 Small, Independent Vancouver Brands to Shop Instead of the Shein Pop-Up
Fall for Local (FFL) prides itself on being a space for local businesses to sell their wares. On September 28 and 29, FFL is set to host their annual Fall For Local Market, which showcases over 80 independent brands. Over the course of two days, guests have the chance to mingle and meet other market-goers while taking in some tunes and discovering a diverse range of local vendors.
Expect to find wide leg linen pants and adjustable flat-banded tops from Arraei Collective, cinnamon pecans and almond nougats from Bon Mano Bon, as well as Keith & Clem’s hot pepper jelly. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and purchase products from a curated collection of the Made In Vancouver Award winners (Brad Carlyle Woodworks, Minori Takagi and more!) in a separate special section. Visit Fall For Local’s website for the entire list of vendors that will be attending this year’s event.
The Fall for Local Market is being held at the Pipe Shop building in North Vancouver, a short sea bus ride from downtown. Support local businesses while getting in your weekend shopping fix; it’s homegrown retail therapy you can feel good about.
