These monthly Taco Thursdays might just be the sickest collab of 2018.
I think no matter what the question, tacos are the answer. Just a little peckish? Eat a couple tacos. Ravenous? Eat a lot of tacos. Platonic lunch date? Friendly tacos. Romantic dinner date? Intimate tacos. Undefined shared meal that might be just friendship or maybe something more but you don’t want to ask and make it weird? Just taco ’bout it. And if there’s one thing that pairs well with a taco (besides a good, sturdy napkin, because nobody’s perfect) it’s a beer from one of Vancouver’s local breweries.Well, taco and beer lovers of Greater Vancouver, let us join our sticky hands and rejoice: Tacofino‘s Beer Dinner Series is the answer to our pico de gallo prayers. This series of dinners, starting on Thursday, January 25th, will feature unique five-course meals created by executive chef Stefan Hartmann and Head Chef James You, each arriving with an ice cold beer from a local brewery. Guests can enjoy casual favourites with an elegant twist: highlights of January 25th’s menu include the smoked eggplant taco paired with Red Truck Beer Company‘s Blue Santa Cask.If your January is all booked up, no fear: this series continues on the last Thursday of each month all the way ’til June. At two seatings per night, there’s plenty of opportunity to experience this tasty collaboration. Featured breweries include Tofino Brewing Company in February, Strange Fellows Brewing Company in April, and a flight of Port Moody breweries in June.
