TEDxVancouver 2026 Tickets Now on Sale—and the Lineup Features Our Very Own Editor-in-Chief

The esteemed speakers' event returns after an eight-year hiatus on March 8, and limited tickets drop today.

“Ideas change everything” is the motto behind TEDxVancouver—and on Sunday, March 8, 2026, the acclaimed non-profit speaker series puts the theory to the test by bringing 10 Vancouverites onto the stage at the Vancouver Club.

The presenter list is an impressive and diverse group of thought leaders, from Clio CEO Jack Newton to Squamish hereditary Chief Gibby Jacob to Olympic medalist Karina LeBlanc. They’ll each be sharing their big ideas and big stories—connected by this year’s theme, “Clarity”—over a day of talks and networking.

And making the 2026 edition of the event extra exciting for us is the fact that Vancouver magazine’s own editor-in-chief, Stacey McLachlan, is also on the presenter list.

It’s a bit of a tradition at this point to have our team members grace the TEDx stage: our VP of content, Anicka Quin, gave her own illuminating talk back in 2018, the last time TEDxVancouver was held.

Six speakers have been announced so far (those mentioned above, plus former Musqueam chief Gail Sparrow and Dr. Mypinder Sekhon), with more reveals to come. Tickets for the day of ideas are now on sale: general admission is $249 for a full day of speaker sessions and includes both a breakfast and lunch reception. See you there?
