The JCC Jewish Book Festival (Feb. 21-26, 2026) will bring community together in a warm embrace with fascinating writers from across Canada, USA, Australia and Israel.

Our mission—to expose the general community to a curated snapshot of current Jewish literature and ideas—feels more essential now than ever.  We connect you, our audience, with essential books, bold ideas, and remarkable writers exploring themes that are vital for our community in the current world: the unfortunate spectre of virulent antisemitism in Canada and around the globe, the complicated but also uplifting events in Israel, and the complexities of Jewish identity in an ever-changing society. “Your festival is known for bringing in work with courage, depth, and emotional truth”, wrote Yishay Ishi Ron, who will be one of our featured authors.

The festival will once again deliver its signature mix of fiction, history, memoir and more, offering something for every reader. From cooking and psychology to music, photography and family dynamics, the lineup spans the full spectrum of storytelling.
