The Best Happy Hours to Hit Right Now: February 2025 Edition

Deal hunter Nikki Bayley is on the case to find you the best happy hour deals in the city right now.

If you made it through Dry January, the Inauguration and really, just the endlessness of the worst month of the year, it’s time to celebrate with tariff-blues-busting deals across town. Yes, you may be utterly broke, but you can still go out and enjoy a drink, a snack and a fleeting sense of normality for around $25 including tax and tip. Let’s go!

For A Stellar Post-Work Happy Hour: La Terrazza

If you haven’t been to La Terrazza in Yaletown for a while, immediately make plans for their excellent 5 to 7 p.m. Happy Hour in the lounge and dive into well-priced classic cocktails—margaritas for $10.88, highballs for $6.88 and bottle of ‘premium wine for $65. Nice! Flatbreads, gnocchi, meatballs and bruschetta all come in around the $13 mark, and one delicious bite will tell you why these guys have quietly been in business for so long.

For A Post-Cowdog Drink: Johnny’s On Oak

I headed over the bridge to slurp on ultra-on-trend strawberry matcha at CowDog (so recommended!) and screeched to a halt outside their nearby neighbour, Johnny’s on Oak, when I saw their A-frame advertising wine for 50 percent off on Mondays and Tuesdays. Happy Hour at Johnny’s is a double deal daily: from 3 to 6 p.m. and then 9 p.m. till close. Love that! Another neighbourhood staple, Johnny’s has been in the tasty Greek food game for almost 40 years, and their HH menu is an absolute banger: pita pizzas for $6! Steak and triple-cooked fries for $19! Okanagan wine for $6.25!
