Take out your shiny new Compass card and take off your pants. This Sunday is the annual No Pants SkyTrain Ride, which is exactly what it sounds like. Hosted by Vancouver Improv Anywhere, the event kicks off at 2:30 pm on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery (full details here). There’s even an after party and group photo—a chance to show all your Facebook friends and Tinder prospects what a fun, adventurous person you are. Interested? Here’s what you need to do according to the event organizers: “Board the SkyTrain. As soon as the doors shut, stand up and take your pants off and put them in your backpack. If anyone asks you why you’ve removed your pants, tell them that they were ‘getting uncomfortable’ (or something along those lines).” Surely you won’t be alone in your discomfort. When: Sunday, Jan. 10, 2:30pm | Where: Vancouver Art Gallery | Cost: Nothing (well, except for your dignity)
