13 Taylor Swift Events to Attend in Vancouver During the Eras Tour

Swiftie-themed events in Vancouver to drown your Ticketmaster sorrows in.

It’s been, and I cannot stress this enough, a long time coming. On December 6, 7 and 8, 2024, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour finally comes to Vancouver. Not only is this the first time she’s performed in the city since the 1989 World Tour (“Blank Space,” “Style,” “Shake it Off,” you remember), it’s the very last leg of the record-breaking, over-a-year-long tour, the most elaborate, iconic and culturally significant in her music career.

For a ticketless Swiftie like myself (I taught myself the periodic table noble gases by writing a parody of “Mine” in eighth grade) it’s easy to get a little cynical about scalpers selling tickets for tens of thousands of dollars or tech bros renting out their downtown apartments for a grand a night. I am not going to sit here and pretend that going to a Taylor-themed dance party, bracelet-making sesh or boat cruise can compare to attending the concert itself… but hey, why not indulge in all the Eras-themed events the city has to offer? You can do it with a broken heart.

13 Taylor Swift Events to Attend in Vancouver During the Eras Tour

Vancouver Taylor Swift Events: Dance Parties, Club Nights and Drag

Reputation Era: A Taylor Swift Drag Show

Are you ready for it? Local drag artist Alma Be is hosting a Swiftie drag show and dance party at the Junction on Friday. Don’t forget to bring cash for tips (and don’t blame me if you do).

Date: November 29
Location: The Junction Pub
Cost: $15 cover at the door
More info: eventbrite.ca

Eras: Taylor Swift Dance Party

Avoid the crowds chanting “More!” by partying it up a week before the Eras Tour hits Vancouver (and in Kitsilano’s Hollywood Theatre, a venue with downtown vibes that is notably not in the middle of the big ol’ city).

Date: November 29
Location: The Hollywood Theatre
Cost: $21
More info: hollywoodtheatre.ca

A Taylor Swift Dance Party Boat Cruise

Feel just like Leo in San Tropez at this boat cruise hosted by Where It’s At Entertainment—Swiftie sailors take off on the “Burrard Queen” from False Creek. There’s six different events on offer next weekend, and some are all ages (so if you’re responsible for a young fan, you don’t need to say “You’re on your own, kid”).

Date: December 5, 6, 7 and 8
Location: At Sea (but meet at 760 Pacific Boulevard Dock A)
Cost: From $69
More info: eventbrite.ca

The Yale’s Eras Tour After Parties

Oh my my my—embrace Tay’s country roots at the Yale’s Eras Tour after parties. The Granville Street bar is hosting parties every night of the tour (plus a kickoff party the night before). This is where to hear the slammin’ screen doors post-concert… or to hang out all night, if you lost the Ticketmaster great war.

Date: December 5, 6, 7 and 8
Location: The Yale Saloon
Cost: From $15
More info: yalesaloon.com

Teenage Dream: Taylor’s Version

Fortune Sound Club is also hosting a Taylor-themed club night (if you’re getting overwhelmed, I encourage you to shake it off). The event is put on by Teenage Dream, an “audio-visual experience” that plays the hits from “High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, Jonas Brothers, One Direction and everything in-between.” Sounds like my Spotify Wrapped.

Date: December 6
Location: Fortune Sound Club
Cost: $14

The S-era’s Tour Ft. Taylor Swift Tribute Artist Seraphina

If you haven’t seen this Taylor impersonator on TikTok, the algorithm is doing you dirty. Is she Taylor Swift? No. Can you get tickets to her show starting at $17? Yes. Try and come for her job.

Date: December 6
Location: The Red Room
Cost: $17
More info: eventbrite.com

The Eras Tour (Kendall’s Version)

Vanmag Power 50 alum (and cover star of our September/October issue) Kendall Gender is putting on an Eras-themed drag show at The Birdhouse on December 13… which is, notably, after the tour has wrapped up and conveniently on Taylor Swift’s birthday. We can see you.

Date: December 13
Location: The Birdhouse
Cost: From $25
More info: eventbrite.ca

Vancouver Taylor Swift Events: Bracelet-Making, Baking and More

The West End: Taylor’s Version

Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it at the West End BIA’s Taylor-themed event. The evening promises trivia, bracelet-making and a showing of the Eras Tour movie.

Date: November 29
Location: West End Community Centre
Cost: Free
More info: eventbrite.ca

Minami’s Taylor Swift-Themed Cocktails

You can make me a drink… or Minami can. The Yaletown restaurant is serving Swiftie cocktails all next week (the “Sparks Fly” has butterfly pea flower and lychee, and the “Cornelia Street” is garnished with cotton candy… very Lover-coded).

Date: December 1 to 8
Location: Minami Yaletown
Cost: Varies
More info: minamirestaurant.com

Science World After Dark: Eras Edition

Who are we to fight the alchemy? Science World’s Taylor Swift event encourages visitors to dress up in honour of their favourite era, and promises friendship bracelet making, trivia, a sound show and sing-along. After all, it’s basically a huge mirrorball.

Date: December 4
Location: Science World
Cost: From $39
More info: scienceworld.ca

Canyon Lights (Taylor’s Version)

Best believe the Capilano Suspension Bridge is still bejewelled—it’s annual Canyon Lights event is getting the Taylor Swift treatment next week and transforming into a “giant friendship bracelet.” It’s obviously going to be an incredible photo op, perfect if you like shiny things.

Date: December 5 to 9
Location: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
Cost: $72 for adults
More info: capbridge.com

Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts’ Bake it Off

I think Taylor herself would approve of this event (personally I’ve been making her chai sugar cookies for years, even though there’s really no guarantee that it actually came from her). PICA’s ode to Taylor comes in the form of a baking class, where participants will make sparkle poptarts, cinnamon bread (apparently Travis Kelce’s fave… no one fact-check that), those internet-famous chai cookies and more.

Date: December 7
Location: Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts
Cost: $149
More info: picachef.com

Petite Forêt’s Holly Dolly Holidays Family Concert

Yes, this is almost a full three weeks after the concert wraps up, but every season is Taylor season, and this event is for kids (who, as far as I understand, have a looser understanding of time). Petite Forêt’s event will feature Taylor Swift’s songs sung by… Rapunzel, for some reason. Yes, it’s crazier than the other events on this list. You buy the ticket and she’ll be the princess.

Date: December 28
Location: Petite Forêt Play Café
Cost: Form $37
