From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Granville Island becomes party island—behind Granville Island Brewing, more specifically. It’s an all-ages outdoor dance party featuring live DJs, dance performances, art installations, boozy pop-up bars, market vendors, food trucks and fun activities for kids (that aren’t the iPad).

Don’t miss the boat—it leaves at 6 p.m. sharp and returns at 9 p.m.
