The Vancouver Facial Hair Club will host Whiskers Welcome, its 11th Annual Beard and Moustache Competition, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hero’s Welcome (3917 Main Street). A fixture in Vancouver’s charitable event calendar, the competition brings together participants from across Canada and the United States to showcase a wide range of facial hair styles while raising funds for local causes. This year’s proceeds will support Street Thug Barbers, a volunteer-driven initiative providing free haircuts in the Downtown Eastside. The event features ten competition categories, professional photography, raffles, and a 50/50 draw. The public is welcome. Tickets: https://www.vanfhc.ca/events
