Brilliance Gala & Auction

The Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation for Young Artists invites guests to its annual Brilliance Gala & Auction — an elegant evening celebrating creativity, community, and the transformative power of arts education. Hosted at the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art, the gala brings together leading Canadian artists, collectors, and supporters to raise critical funds for Artists for Kids programs and free public programming across B.C.

Co-chaired by renowned Canadian artist Ian Wallace, O.C., and Krista Whitelock, and hosted by Fred Lee and Gloria Macarenko, the evening features a multi-course dinner by award-winning Chef David Hawksworth, fine wines, bespoke cocktails, live entertainment, and a curated live and silent auction of collector-worthy artworks and unique experiences. Proceeds directly support artist-led education programs, scholarships, and creative opportunities for children and youth throughout the province.
