Voices for Gaza: Benefit Concert and Online Silent Auction

In February, a Vancouver-based community of artists and supporters raised nearly $14,000 for the people of Gaza. Today, as the humanitarian crisis deepens, the need is greater than ever — and the community is once again coming together through music, shared humanity, grief, and hope.

On Thursday, February 27 at 7:30 PM, Canadian Memorial Church will host Voices for Gaza, a powerful benefit concert featuring a diverse lineup of top-notch musicians: The Tanglewood Trio, Tom Landa of The Paperboys and Locarno, folk trio Vostok, and Palestinian music ensemble Dafa Band. Together, the artists aim to raise $20,000 in humanitarian support for Gaza.

The evening will offer audiences not only beautiful and moving music, but also a space for solidarity and compassion during an ongoing crisis that continues to affect millions.

In addition to the live concert, Voices for Gaza will include an online silent auction, featuring generously donated items from the community and artists such as Sarah McLachlan and Dan Mangan. Auction items may be picked up at the concert or arranged for collection afterward.
The auction will run February 1–10 on Galabid.com, under the title Voices for Gaza.
