Marche Winery tasting at La Ghianda

Italian winemaker Lorenzo Marotti Campi takes guests through a flight of six of his winery's top bottles—including a hard-to-find white that's not available in Canada. Appetizers by La Ghianda (little sister to award-winning La Quercia restaurant) accompany each wine.

Tastes of CCFCC Canada – Opening Reception

Chefs from across the country converge on Vancouver this week for the Canadian Culinary Federation Chefs' Conference. Taste the delicious creations of up-and-coming chefs and their mentors at Sunday's kick-off event where 19 sampling stations feature dishes like Venison Bresola, Quail stuffed with Fiddleheads, and Mustard Cured Duck Bacon. Don't forget to stop by the martini booth for a stiff drink.

Tojo and Friends Japan Fundraiser

The master of sushi brings the city's best chefs together to present an extravagant evening of food, drinks, and entertainment. Jann Arden and the Canadian Tenors perform during a meal that includes cuisine prepared by the likes of John Bishop, Cioppino's Pino Posteraro, Thomas Haas, Hotel Georgia's Ned Bell, and more. All proceeds benefit the Canadian Red Cross's Japanese earthquake fund.
