He may have left his heart in San Francisco, but there’s more than enough love out there for Tony Bennett anyplace he lays his hat and sings. The last of the great crooners, Bennett can’t be anything but cool as he snaps his fingers and cranks out the Great American Songbook. He’s also hip: as the New York Times said, Anthony Dominick Benedetto, 88, “has not just bridged the generation gap, he has demolished it.
