Exclusive Olympic Images, Day 10

February 22, 2010

What to say about Canada's 3-5 loss to the US in last night's preliminaries at Canada Hockey Place? Where even to begin? Canada had a dream team, we thought, with a powerful Martin Brodeur in net, though last night's performance makes us miss Roberto Luongo in the crease all the more. Canada was gentlemanly on the ice, to say the least, and defence was laggardly. The Americans came out to win and outgunned, outskated, outchecked us. Canada must defeat Germany tomorrow to qualify for quarterfinals against Russia on Wednesday. Relive the drama below.
