25th Annual Restaurant Awards

On April 22, 2014, Vancouver Magazine hosted its 25th Annual Restaurant Awards at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, the year's most anticipated celebration of the city's top culinary talent. Party goers sipped and savoured Vancouver's best food and drink in anticipation for the awards presentation hosted by CBC's Gloria Macarenko and Stephen Quinn.
For the first year ever, best of neighbourhood awards were presented to seven rooms, notable winners were Nook (Best West End), Blue Water Cafe+ raw bar (Best Yaletown), Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie (Best Chinatown and Gastown) and Cactus Club Coal Harbor (Best Downtown). The Farmer's Apprentice capped off the awards presentation with a hat-trick, winning Best New, Best Casual, and Restaurant of the Year.
Once the awards were handed out, guests kept the party going with a selection of craft beers from. VIP guests were then invited to JOEY Bentall where they savoured a selection of premium wines and cocktails while enjoying some tasty bites from the JOEY menu.
