The one pre-Christmas warehouse sale you won’t want to miss

The annual Obakki warehouse sale starts tomorrow

So often warehouse sales lure hopeful fashionistas with the promise of their statospheric bargains and steals, but the reality is, they’re simply another way to make a buck at just a slightly reduced rate (10% off does not qualify as warehouse fodder in our books). So when the annual Obakki Warehouse sale comes around, the sartorial savvy always take note. Here, expect prices up to 90% off with some sample items for as low as $10.

Obakki has come a long way from its little local launch 10 years ago. From homegrown start to luxury line, its threads are now sported on the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson along with the pages of Vogue and Elle. A devoted humanitarian, founder Treana Peake also throws her weight behind The Obakki Foundation, the brand’s philanthropic counterpart that focuses on providing clean water and education in Africa (the label absorbs all administrative fees for the charity, allowing 100% of the Obakki Foundation’s public donations to go directly to its charitable initiatives). At the sale, scoop one of the limited-edition modal blend “Scarves for Water” scarves ($29)—including three new shades in Cobalt (blue), Maize (gold) and Sand (taupe). When 500 scarves of a particular colour have been purchased, a clean water well gets built in a South Sudan village.

Obakki Warehouse Sale, one day only—Friday, November 27, 10am-5 pm
341 Water St., Suite 400, Gastown
Cash, debit, MasterCard and Visa are accepted. All sales are final.
