See Ya Later Ranch

See Ya Later Ranch

Perched above the town of Okanagan Falls, See Ya Later Ranch is the highest elevation vineyard in the Okanagan Valley, with stunning views of Skaha Lake to the North and Vasseaux Lake to the South. The outstanding location, first planted with vines by original proprietor Major Hugh Fraser in the early 1920’s, features perfect grape growing conditions including cooler summer evenings that allow the fruit to maintain acidity and lend exceptional balance. The vineyard’s slope, proximity to the lakes and unique climate encourage healthy ripening of cool weather varietals including Pinot Noir, Riesling and Gewurztraminer. See Ya Later Ranch also produces Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and big Bordeaux varieties that make up the flagship Ping Meritage. Every bottle of See Ya Later Ranch wine is BC VQA approved, assuring that it is produced from 100% B.C. grapes grown to VQA standard.

Winemaker David Saysomsack leads the show at See Ya Later Ranch, having recently taken over from veteran Dave Carson. The Abbotsford product worked throughout the Pacific Northwest and in New Zealand before calling the Okanagan his home. Join Saysomsack and other wine experts for See Ya Later Ranch’s regular Food & Wine Pairing events, host your wedding or special event on-site, or settle into the newly refurbished Major Fraser Room for casual ranch style food that tastes that much better with a bottle of wine.
