Seattle Art Fair
Seattle Art Fair is a unique four-day showcase of the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant culture and diversity produced by Art Market Productions in concert with Vulcan, Inc. Hosted in one of the United States’ fastest growing cities and artistic centres, Seattle Art Fair features sixty local, regional and international modern and contemporary exhibitors, with several Asian galleries adding a Pacific Rim emphasis. Program highlights include Thinking Currents, an extension of Asia Contemporary Art Week (ACAW). The signature exhibition, curated by Leeza Ahmady, focuses on new media, video, sound and film works by some of today’s most compelling artists based in the Pacific Rim and beyond.
Seattle Art Fair’s philosophy of responsible engagement and promotion of the arts resonates throughout the city, as off-site art installations and panel discussions at the Seattle Art Museum extend the event from its CenturyLink Field Event Center headquarters into various locations throughout Seattle.
The fair further establishes the City of Seattle as a global artistic influencer. Sponsored by WSJ, Perrier and Hotel Sorrento, the Art Market Productions event features such notable galleries as Gagosian Gallery, David Zwirner Gallery, Paul Kasmin Gallery, PACE, James Cohan Gallery, Mariane Ibrahim Gallery, Greg Kucera Gallery, Catharine Clark Gallery, KaiKai Kiki and many more.
