Lao Feng Xiang
Founded in 1848, Shanghai-based Lao Feng Xiang is China’s oldest jewellery brand, with a network of 3,000 retail locations in China and stores in Sydney, New York, and Vancouver.
Lao Feng Xiang’s 1,300-sq.-ft. Vancouver boutique is situated in the heart of Vancouver’s “Luxury Zone,” the area around Alberni Street’s 1000 block, which features over 30 high-end retailers, restaurants, and other attractions.
Five generations of master craftsmen are the company’s creative source and have helped Lao Feng Xiang gain its reputation for quality craftsmanship. Best known for its 24-karat gold and jade creations, Lao Feng Xiang also has a long history of working with silver, platinum, and diamonds.
In order to keep pace with contemporary trends in jewellery and to expand its brand overseas, Lao Feng Xiang now carries nephrite, jadeite, pearl, coloured stone, ivory sculpture, enamel, as well as 18K glasses, and has taken on young designers to build on the line’s classic pieces.
