Culmina Family Estate Winery
Don and Elaine Triggs founded Culmina Family Estate Winery with a simple goal: to produce exceptional wines from their own family estate in the Okanagan. Following 40+ combined years in the wine industry, Don and Elaine understood the importance of a vineyard-driven approach. For this reason, they carefully selected raw land in the South Okanagan and began to develop their new estate with daughter Sara. Translating to ‘peak‘ or ‘apex’ in Latin, ‘Culmina’ reflects not only their lifetime of efforts in the wine industry, but also their desire to coax the highest possible quality from their Golden Mile Bench terroir.
The family was joined by Vineyard Manager & Winemaker Pascal Madevon in January 2013. For Pascal, Culmina provided the chance to craft unique wines from exceptional terroir and the opportunity to work with proprietors with whom he shared a desire to achieve excellence through a careful balance of artistry and science. The Triggs family’s knowledge and passion for the industry and pride in their unique Okanagan terroir makes a visit to Culmina a true highlight for any wine lover.
