Housed in a former marine repair building in the harbour, this airy Yaletown-on-the-coast room is usually packed, and the massive nine-metre communal patio table is becoming a summertime institution. Start off with chvre chaud baked oysters, broiled with sambal lime butter. Then dig into grilled Qualicum scallops with wild mushrooms in orange saffron beurre rouge. Don’t even try to resist the halibut fritters, served on a tower of hand-cut sweet potato fries.
