Jagerhof is an institution on the North Shore. Eighteen inexpensive versions of pork tenderloin schnitzel are served with potato or spaetzle and red cabbage (try the cordon bleu stuffed with ham and melted cheese). A selection of German and Czech beers adds further authenticity, but it’s the stuffed game birds, wild boar heads, and stag antlers nailed to the walls alongside portraits of Franz Josef and the Kaiser that make the Jagerhof an escape from the ordinary.
