Burnaby Village Museum

Burnaby Village Museum is historical entertainment with something for everyone. Take a stroll down the streets of a 1920s tram-stop neighbourhood, where costumed townsfolk invite visitors to explore demonstrations in homes, shops, and businesses. Visit the blacksmith at his forge, stop in to chat with the clerk at the General Store, or take in a demonstration at the print stop.Other fun attractions at Burnaby Village Museum include Elworth (1922), a designated heritage house that exemplifies the upper-middle-class suburban residence of the period; the Jesse Love Farmhouse (1893), one of Burnaby’s oldest surviving buildings; the Seaforth School, which opened with 20 students in 1922; the C.W. Parker Carousel (1912), a fully restored carousel where kids of all ages can take a ride for just $2.65 each; and the Interurban Tram 1223 (1912), a restored electric tram.
