James Coleridge’s universally (and deservedly) acclaimed gelato finds another home at a plum location overlooking False Creek. But unlike his Coal Harbour outpost, this pristine room is closer to a full-fledged Italian bistro in addition to a rotating selection of extraordinary ice creams, a full lunch and dinner menu features very good Neapolitan-style pizzas from a wood-burning oven, plus panini, salads, antipasto, and a full bar (the much-touted “gelatinis” are strictly for those who like their cocktails sweet and colourful). Breakfast and weekend brunch keep the rather too-close-for-comfort seating area and patio hopping from morning to night. Expect line-ups whenever the sun is shining.
