Granville Island / South Granville

South Granville combines the heights of Vancouver’s art society with commercial office blocks, quaint bistros, and a destination shopping scene. From the foot of the bridge down to Broadway, Granville Street is home to “Gallery Row,” a string of high-end consumer-focused art galleries sure to suit all tastes (but not all budgets). The high-toned art and sculpture galleries from 4th to 16th avenues compliment the plenty of tourist-friendly visual and performance art studios on Granville Island, which is just slightly to the north. The business district sits among some of the largest, most expensive and most luxurious single-family homes in the city—and responds with top-of-the-line boutiques and restaurants.
