Capilano

Bordered by the towering green giant that is the Lions Gate Bridge and the meandering Capilano River that flows from the top of Capilano Mountain (near Furry Creek) into the Burrard Inlet, the cozy neighbourhood of Capilano is known for its arborous adventure spots. The Upper Capilano area, meanwhile, is known for its windy tree-lined roads and quiet rural feel. While the homes are mostly tucked into a tranquil trail-laden pocket, many residences in the area are walking distance from the quaint Edgemont Village. Tucked between the base of Grouse Mountain and the border of Upper Capilano, Edgemont Village offers a range of cafes and locally-owned stores, perfect for a midday stroll and shopping, or a coffee meet-up with friends.
