Eat, Drink and Explore Bothell
20-plus PNW breweries will participate in the third annual Bothell Beer Festival this October
September 1, 2016
Let’s say you aren’t one to get excited about golden leaves, crisp mornings and saying goodbye to summer. Well Bothell, Washington is giving you a good reason to look forward to fall. The third annual Bothell Beer Festival graces the scenic Pacific Northwest town October 15, offering up a full day of adult only fun to nearby beer buffs.
The outdoor affair, which runs from 12pm to 6pm, will feature products from more than twenty PNW breweries, including three Bothell-based favourites: Beardslee Public House & Brewery, Foggy Noggin Brewing and McMenamins Anderson School. Other notables such as Dirty Bucket Brewing Co. and Triplehorn Brewing Co. are sure to attract a crowd at the popular event.
But what’s a beer festival without delicious food to compliment the good brews, and live outdoor music to set the party vibe? Local acts will be serenading beer drinkers all afternoon along Festival Street from Main to 183rd. The entertaining street fair has something for everyone—including designated drivers who can claim their complimentary tickets at the door upon arrival. If you do plan to partake in the drinking aspect, be sure to buy your tickets up front.
If we know anything, it’s that beer tastes even better when consumed in the name of a good cause. Lucky for you (and for them) all proceeds from the Bothell Beer Festival will directly benefit the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce. So hop the border and welcome fall in the scenic Pacific Northwest with a locally brewed beer in hand and good friends by your side.
