Pick-up, ready-made meals to go can be ordered in advance, assembled by the customer or quickly picked from the cooler at the store. This sleek modern kitchen/storefront/diner belies the wealth of goodies available. LA SALZA MEXICAN DELI
Phone ahead and order a litre of the best salsa; Lucia Glanz makes it fresh daily. Her guacamole, easily the best in town, is only made to order. Chiles rellano are almost as famous and made with fresh poblano peppers. Why stop there? Pick up pozole, a traditional soup from Guadalajara made with hominy corn, and silky-smooth flan for dessert, and you have a complete Mexican dinner—muy bueno!
