You’ve heard of B.C. wine country and you’ve certainly enjoyed the wine, but have you ever experienced the gorgeous landscapes from which your favorite reds and whites are made?
This fall, Wines of British Columbia is offering one lucky winner the trip of a lifetime, a 3-day/2-night trip for two to B.C. wine country as part of their Buy B.C. Campaign Search and Savour contest.
Here’s how to enter
Each week there will be clues posted about a wine region on winebc.com. Entrants can read the clues, answer three multiple-choice questions, and submit their details to enter. Entrants are allowed 1 entry each week (9 chances to win if they play every week). At the end of the campaign, 1 grand prize winner from B.C. will be selected to win a 3-day/2-night trip to B.C. wine country!
That’s not the only way to win, Wines of British Columbia will also host a bonus contest from their Instagram account. You can view their pinned story for details and a chance to win a gift basket full of delicious B.C.-grown products valued at $150.
Speaking of B.C.-grown, did you know that British Columbia boasts nine diverse wine regions including: Okanagan Valley, Similkameen Valley, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands, Lillooet, Sushwap, Thompson Valley and the Kootenays? In addition to these, there are two sub-appellations within the Okanagan Valley including the Golden Mile Bench and Okanagan Falls. With hundreds of vineyards, tasting rooms and wineries in tow, there’s truly a whole world of B.C. wine just waiting to be enjoyed.
When it comes to discovering new B.C. wine, the trick is to search near, not far. Search your local wine stores and restaurants and visit the wineries located nearest to you. There’s so much world-class wine being produced right here in B.C., it would be a shame to let your new favourite pass you by. When in doubt, just look for B.C. VQA on the label . B.C. VQA indicates that the product is 100% B.C. wine.
Wines of British Columbia’s Search and Savour contest runs from October 15 – December 16, 2018. Make sure to visit winebc.com for contest details and a chance to win the B.C. wine country getaway of your dreams.
This contest is being run in accordance with Wine B.C.’s own rules and regulations.
