The Chutzpah! Festival is back and filled with an amazing array of dance, theatre and musical artists from around the world. Go see local legend Barbara Adler and Ten Thousand Wolves perform their blend of music, poetry and object theatre or catch Salome: Woman of Valor, a spoken word opera re-casting the myth of Salome from Jewish History as a one of female empowerment and revolution.

Watch a Classic Retold Through Dance

Move over Taylor Swift because Ballet BC is doing their own retelling of Shakespeare’s classic love story Romeo and Juliet. Exploring the divisions that exist in the world today, this thought-provoking production will feature the stunning landscapes that choreographer Medhi Walerski is known for.

Brew your own Bitters

Become a modern-day potions master at Stanley Park Ecology’s workshop Brew Your Own Bitters. Participants will learn about the history of bitters and how to make them using plants sourced from Stanley Park, all the while sipping and trying out their own unique cocktail combinations.
