Eating breakfast for dinner never felt so right or so gourmet! Put on by theCuratorialist, Hard-Boiled brings together breakfast champions Deniz Tarakcioglu (Café Medina) and Brad Miller (Red Wagon Café & Bistro Wagon Rouge) for a special pop-up dining experience. The menu features a combination of Mediterranean style delicacies alongside greasy spoon favourites so you can have merguez dumplings with poached eggs with a side of buttermilk pancakes.

Told through a series of monologues, My Funny Valentine is a haunting and sometimes strangely comedic exploration of the effects of hate on a community.

Be Inspired by Storytellers

EMMA Talks bring together woman identified writers, artists and activists for a series of talks on their passions and inspirations in an open and intimate setting. This month features Vivek Shraya, a powerful and multi-talented artist whose first book of poetry, even this page is white recently won a 2017 Publisher Triangle Award and Anoushka Ratnarajahwork, an artist and producer whose work focuses on sharing underrepresented histories and stories in mainstream theatre and performance.

Smash a Pinata of Your Love

Whether it’s for fun, for revenge or for a delightfully creepy metaphor for all the sweet qualities you see in your significant other, spend an afternoon pre-Valentines day creating a pinata replica of that special someone. This Monkey’s Gone to Heaven has paired with Meaghan Kennedy of Your Pinata to offer Smash Your Love: a workshop on creating human shaped pinatas, complete with treats and eerie paper mache faces.
