Yes, it’s been more bad news for popular scapegoat TransLink, or at least the headlines have suggested as much. A massive surge in people signing up for Compass Cards resulted in activation delays, while days later a man with disabilities criticized the fare gates for being difficult with limited arm use (TransLink is keeping the accessible fare gates open for the time being). But Compass also introduced a number of conveniences, like AutoLoad, which renews your monthly pass automatically (saving you the trouble of ever having to go to 7-Eleven again). So tell us, now that more than a week has gone by, have things really been so horrible?
