Watch Film Noir in a Morgue

Yes, you read that right. Every month the Vancouver Police Museum opens up what used to be the VPD’s morgue for Movies in the Morgue: film screenings for the thrill-seeking audience. This month you can enjoy the moody intrigue of a young Jack Nicholson in Neo-Noir classic, Chinatown which follows Private Eye J.J. Gittes in a twisted mystery of drought plagued California.

When: 7:00 p.m.

Become an Astronaut

Thursday, April 12

An international celebration of great discoveries in space exploration, Yuri Night is named after the first person to go into space: Yuri Gagarin. Cosmic Nights: Yuri’s Night Epic Exploration features a custom planetarium show, music, drinks, science demonstrations, games, a special guest lecturer, as well as astronaut training so you too can blast off into the next frontier! This is a 19+ event.

Sip B.C.’s Finest Spirits

An extravaganza of artisanal distilleries from all across the province, BC Distilled Festival includes tastings, food pairings and a whiskey master class. Try the spirits from renowned distilleries including perhaps the East Van Vodka from Odd Society Spirits, the Stump Coastal Forest Gin from Fermentorium Distilling Co. or the coffee liquor from Bohemian Spirits all the way from Kimberley. Tickets are all inclusive.
